Thanksgiving is next week!!!
I am personally SO excited!!! I love this time of year. I love how it brings people together to celebrate the little things. It makes the great big world feel a bit smaller and warmer. It causes me to draw in to the promises of the Messiah who came as a small babe. It wraps me in a blanket of thankfulness. And it stirs up memories of seasons past and hope for seasons to come. The holidays are splendid!
As these days rapidly approach us, I desire to prepared and expectant– spiritually, emotionally, and practically.
- Spiritually by spending time every day with Jesus.
- Emotionally by preparing my heart to withstand bumps in the road and to still love well.
- Practically by staying organized in my holiday preparations.
My new Shop Small Series was created to help you (and me!) be prepared for the holidays in a practical sense. Over the next few weeks, these weekly posts will review several hand-picked small businesses that I recommend adding to your Christmas shopping list. I have had so much fun making new “mommy friends” through this little series! Marissa, the lovely creator of The Della Rose Boutique is one of my favorite ladies! So what are my thoughts on our hairpieces?
We received a floral felt headband and a vintage-style clip-on bow from The Della Rose Boutique. I could not be more happy with these pieces!
My daughter was bald for quite a while and even when she did have hair, she still needed “feminine” hair pieces because it was so short. I only wish I had had these accessories back then! I had so much trouble finding timeless hairpieces in the large chain stores. Our headband and bow are unlike any other hair accessories that I have ever seen.
