Wow. This past week has been tough you guys. Really tough. The kiddos and myself caught a stomach flu, and I can tell you that I wouldn’t wish that on ANYONE! I meant for this post to be published on Thursday, but… here we are. Flexibility is golden when you’re a mom, right?

Today I am continuing my new Shop Small Series! Over the next few weeks, these weekly posts will review several hand-picked small businesses that I recommend adding to your Christmas shopping list. It’s really a perfect combo to find Christmas gifts AND support small businesses (and therefore other families!)

I know that I am not the only one who loves to “shop small,” but often ends up frustrated when sifting through all of the choices on Etsy!

Today, I want to introduce you to Amber, she is the founder and creative mind behind Impress Me Much – a custom jewelry design shop! Isn’t this similar to the beautiful work that Christ does in every one of us? Impress Me Much hopes that this creative process will be symbolic of the transformation that can happen in the hearts of domestic abuse survivors.

So what are my thoughts on my bracelet?

When I first began collaborating with Impress Me Much, Amber asked me to choose a jewelry piece, a favorite colored stone, and a short phrase. I fell in love with her custom leather bracelet and mentioned that I love blush pink (Yep, I’ve been sucked into the millennial pink craze! What can I say?) For the custom phrase, I chose “abundant grace.” To anyone who knows me well, the concept of God’s grace has struck me deeply. I know that He is the only source of abundant grace to push through the challenges of life. (In fact, I needed that deep grace to get through this past week of sickness!)

The bracelet that she sent me is absolutely beautiful! I am so in love with it and with the message that it carries for me. It will be a constant reminder to me to lean on God for His abundant grace. I would highly recommend Impress Me Much’s jewelry pieces!
